The Challenge
Pain Points Before Partnering
A large multinational firm in the financial services industry was struggling with engagement in their annual compliance training.
Who isn’t, right?
Too often, this kind of training is treated as a check-the-box exercise and never refreshed. The result may be a regulator stamp of approval, but does it address the real risk?
Fortunately, this client was forward-looking.
Our Approach
Getting Curious About Our Clients
Compliance training can be very run of the mill. This client wanted to change that, and for us, that meant understanding how they saw both compliance and culture. We spent weeks interviewing their learning team, as well as key stakeholders in other parts of the business, at multiple levels.
We presented our findings, and together we hashed out what compliance means for them. We then set about designing videos that reflected the exact right mix of brand, culture, and approach to compliance that they were looking for.
The Solution
The Curious Lion Way
We created a series of videos covering the following topics:
- Anti Bribery and Corruption Laws
- Anti Money Laundering Laws
- Antitrust Laws
- Cybercrime: Social Engineering
We used real actors to create a life-like feel that the learners at our client could relate to. We purposefully chose a younger cast to match the hiring ambitions our client made clear to us.
The filming of this project was so much fun that our client would invite colleagues along to our shoots to appear as extras in various scenes. This is why we love what we do!
Client Feedback
“Curious Lion helped us reimagine the way we did compliance training. We saw this in the number of responses we got to the new roll out!”
