The Learning Culture Podcast
A long-form conversation series with the people leaders, CPOs, and CLOs building capability inside the companies that are quietly rewriting how work gets done.
What this show is
The Learning Culture Podcast is hosted by Andrew Barry, founder of Curious Lion. Season 5 focuses on the gap between AI strategy and real workforce capability: how People and L&D leaders are actually building the human side of an AI-enabled organization.
Past guests include CPOs, CLOs, and heads of talent from Figma, Workday, Shopify, Faire, Duolingo, ServiceNow, and many more. The show is editorial, not promotional. Guests come on to share what they’re learning, not to sell.
What your comms team will want to know
Format
30 to 45 minute conversation, audio and video. Recorded remotely on Riverside.fm (broadcast-quality, no software install needed).
Time commitment
One 20-minute pre-call to align on topics. One recording session. That’s it. We handle everything post-production.
Editorial control
Guests receive the topic outline in advance and can flag anything off-limits. We do not edit guests into positions they didn’t take. Final cut is the host’s, but we always honor a guest’s request to remove a specific moment.
Pre-publication review
On request, we share the final audio and show notes with the guest and their comms partner before publish. Standard turnaround for review is 5 business days.
Distribution
Published on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and the Curious Lion site. Promoted across Andrew’s LinkedIn audience (20K+ L&D and People leaders) and our newsletter (3K+ subscribers).
What guests get back
Full audio, video, transcript, custom audiogram clips for social, and show notes ready for the guest’s own channels. Many guests use the recording as a thought-leadership asset internally.
What we won’t ask
We don’t ask guests to disclose unpublished financials, hiring plans, customer names they haven’t already shared publicly, or anything subject to active litigation. The pre-call is the moment to flag categories that are off-limits.
Promotion expectations
Guests are encouraged but not required to share the episode. We provide ready-to-post copy and clips. There are no contractual obligations on the guest’s side.
